Valvoline Instant Oil Change

The crew was fast, efficient and didnt try and upsell everything under the sun. They did recommend an air filter, because it was filthy, so I did do that as well, as it was much needed!

Alex was my service supervisor. Came here to get differentials done front and rear. They completed the rear and not the front. They said the drain plug was too rusted on and "they couldn't get it off". After taking the car to a mechanic they not only left the skid plate unbolted and hanging but stripped the drain plug and left it loose leaking. This is not only dangerous but completely unprofessional. The whole time he also seemed more focused on showing me photos on his phone instead of doing his job. Highly recommend being careful of this location for more involved work.

I have a great experience every time I go to get my oil changed. However they tried to sell me something that was like $200 and since my car is a front wheel drive it didn’t even need it.. but they didn’t realize that at first. So they tried to sell me something my car wasn’t even equipped for. Just keep that in mind when you go.

I took my daughters car in for an oil change and tire rotation. Oil Change process was without issue. For the tire rotation, they take the car outside and do the rotation manually. Two service techs did the rotation, and a third torqued the lugs (supposedly). My daughter returned two days later for the recommended re-torque and was informed she was missing two lug nuts on the front right tire! If that isn't bad enough, the solution was, "you have two lug nuts missing. You might want to get that checked out." Then proceeded to send my daughter on her way. As you can imagine, this is extremely dangerous and absolutely unacceptable. I returned to Valvoline (Rutland) with my daughter to speak with the staff. After a long pow-wow in the service bay, a worker returned and said he would order new nuts and send me an email when they came in. They were comfortable sending her away again with a Tire missing two lug nuts! Oh and we also learned from the tech that completed the re-torque, all the nuts on the same tire were loose. I sent this information to Valvoline corporate and never received a response. So I guess I will post here instead to warn everyone else in the community.

Absolutely love this place. Efficient and friendly. Very knowledgeable about any vehicle that comes through. They did a very thorough job. I would highly recommend and will be going back. Also, you get to stay in your car the whole time if you so wish. Which is kinda nice.
